Officer Reports

Seneschal (Charles DeFrancesco)

• I have some kid stuff for the Children's Activities at BOTIS XI.
• I talked to an Equestrian Marshall about having equestrian events at BOTIS XII next year.
• We have more event flyers to be passed out, if anyone will be going to events in the next few weeks.

Exchequer (Geralyn Turner)

• The Shire Yard Sale deposited $135.51, bringing our current balance to $527.17.
• The old TCF account still existed (it wasn't properly closed), so there is another $0.75 to be deposited.
• Rent of the site for BOTIS XI has been paid, and a check for Insurance is not needed.

Chatelaine (JoyAnn Flanigan)

• We have some new people tonight.  Welcome to Karen and Paul!
• I have been contacted by Macomb County Libraries about our group having demos.  More information at a later meeting.

Pursuivant (Bart Wright)

• Bart's name has been accepted.  Hoobah to Bartholomew McMullins!

Minister of Arts & Sciences (Becky Klein)

• We'll be making some really cool "boxes" for feast at BOTIS XI.  (See BOTIS news for more information.)

Web Minister (Courtney Bocci for Jerry Bocci)

• There have been a lot of changes to the web site.  Check it out!
• If you have SCA-related pictures that can be put on the site, send them to giovanni @ ramotorcity.com

Chronicler (Allison Anderson)

• The ad for BOTIS XI has been sent to the Pale for publication in the July issue.
• We have flyers for merchants, and general flyers for the event.  Take some to pass out at events.

Old Business

Officer Positions

• We still have several Officer positions open: Chirurgeon, Knight's Marshall, Archery Marshall.  Please check the Mideralm website for officer requirements.
• (Note that these positions are not required.)

New Business

Geralyn submitted a badge to the Heralds.

Geralyn sent in a charter for a shire Sewing Guild, and is working on a badge for it.

The Shire is getting some fabric remnants from a friend of Joy.

The group voted to give a check for $350.00 to the BOTIS XI feast-o-crats to buy food.  The vote was unanimous (in favor).

Battle of the Inland Seas XI News

• There will be "work weekends" every week from now until the event.
• All of the favors are done.
• The Feast-o-crats have asked for a check for $350.00 to get the food.
